4000 square meters containing both a coworking areas, event spaces and workshop facilities, invites you to explore ways to boost your innovation. Here we host events and activities, provide you with a relevant network and offer various tools to help you test, scale, and grow your business. 


The building is owned by Smedvig, with a community run by Nordic Edge, Norway’s official cluster for smart and sustainable cities and communities. Through the cluster, you get the chance to access our extended national and international ecosystem, as well as cluster events and activities.

From black oil to green collaboration and innovation

In 1978, Sverdrups Gate 27 opened its doors as the office of the Norwegian petroleum directorate. For many years, the building played an important role in ushering Norway and the region into the oil age.

In 1978, Sverdrups Gate 27 opened its doors as the office of the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate. For many years, the building played an important role in ushering Norway and the region into the oil age.  


Since then, Smedvig has transformed the building into a sustainable and flexible office with a community of people focused on creating solutions for the green transition.

 

Throughout the rebuild, the focus has been on preserving the original building, reusing materials, and adding wood in new building components. The building has a BREAAM NOR “Very Good” certification, with a robust and reliable energy solution from geothermal energy wells and solar panels on the roof. This puts Innoasis at the forefront when it comes to circular offices. 


Designed to support and foster collaboration, networking, and community activities – Innoasis is the perfect place to manage a green, urban transformation.

Our Café

De Tre Stuer Café is located on the first floor in Innoasis. We are open to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or a tasteful lunch. Maybe this is the location for your next lunch meeting?
